Brewer, director and founder, Steve has been with Franklins from the start, it’s his baby. Coming from a background of bars and restaurants, Steve always had a passion for brewing. One day on a whim, he decided to turn this passion into a career, quitting his job and going to Brew School. He the landed his dream job at Dark Star where he learnt his trade under Mark Tranter before deciding to set up himself. The rest as they say, is history.
Jaye is a qualified cicerone and like Steve has a long history of bar work having work at some prolific places such as Brighton Beer Dispensary and Brew Dog.
During her time at Brew Dog, Jaye had the opportunity to undertake a secondment at their brewery in Ellon. Having always been a keen home brewer, Jaye jumped at the chance and gained an invaluable education.
Jaye was brought on board at Franklins to help us develop our range and push on into keg beers. Her creativity and palate are invaluable and she is a specialist in sour beers and lager.
The water carrier of the team! Coops was brought on board early on to help Steve sell, market and deliver the beer. He is now the go to man for all your beery needs and beyond.
